Tribal and vulnerable communities often face disproportionate challenges in accessing clean water, which significantly impacts their health, livelihoods, and overall well-being in Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram District in the State of Tamil in India. This project seeks to address the water crisis among these marginalized groups by implementing sustainable water solutions tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.Tribal and vulnerable communities, due to their remote locations and limited resources, often lack access to clean and safe water sources. This results in poor health outcomes, limited economic opportunities, and perpetuates the cycle of poverty within these communities. The absence of adequate water infrastructure exacerbates their vulnerability to waterborne diseases and environmental hazards.

Proposed GG#2460917 WASH Project in Eastern Uganda. The will improve access to clean Water , Sanitation and Hygiene in four primary schools and two healthcare facilities. It will construct a solar powered drilled well water supply system in four primary schools, Kisongore and Buwunga in Bugiri District; Bukwekwe in Busia District and Kisoko Primary and Secondary School in Tororo District. Piped water will be extended to two healthcare facilities. The project will also construct latrines for girls and boys.

The “Provision of WASH Facilities” project at Abia State College of Health Sciences and Management Technology in Aba, Nigeria, aims to address these critical needs. With a budget of $81,500, this project endeavors to serve over 1500 direct beneficiaries, including students, faculty, and staff, with an additional 500 indirect beneficiaries from the surrounding community.

We would like to install another 30 to 40 toilets in the town of Gastelum outside of Los Mochis, Sinaloa. In 2016 we installed 30 there, Rotoplas toilets as attached, at a cost of about $1000 usd each. Price now has jumped to $2833 per toilet. Are there any other sources of eco-friendly, sustainable toilets that serve that NW area of Mexico? Thanks

The project consist of a spring box and silt trap with a manhole to permit inspection during routine maintenance. It has to be constructed in a manner to avoid contamination from surface water. Water will be collected from here through PVC pipes to the reservoir proposed to be constructed near the village.

This project will focus on the water and sanitation requirements of school children in 22 schools in villages in the municipality of Acatenango in Chimaltenango, Guatemala. The project will have four specific objectives: 1) Fabrication and installation of biosand water filtration units in the 22 schools, supplemented with take-home water bottles for after school-hours use; 2) Fabrication and installation of hand-washing stations in the schools; 3) installation of five community-scale units to serve 200 families each; and 4) implementation of an educational program modeled on the UNICEF Three-Star approach.

To provide hygiene and hygienic sanitation options, training, and education made possible due to water availability and the production of KEBS (Kenya Bureau of Standards) liquid soap.
